Oh Clark, Oh Clark!

Can I just say I LOVE Clark & his willingness to treat his family? We just booked a 4 day trip to Disney in December. My absolute FAVORITE time of year to visit Disney. It's cool, the crowds are almost nothing, and of course everything is Christmas-Over-The-Top Disney style. Ohhhhhhh...I can't wait :)

Clark just plain ROCKS!

Mytrle Beach trip canceled

Well, Clark needed to make a work stop and I needed to tend to some commitments around here, so it just made sense to cancel our Myrtle Beach trip. We're off on the Disney Cruise in less than 6 weeks now...so we're all pumped up for that!

Disney supposedly has internet throughout the ship, so we'll be able to Blog as we travel and keep everyone posted with current pictures! We can't wait :)

Schlitterbahn...my slice of heaven on the Guadalupe River!

I have very fond memories of going to Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels as a child, and I am excited to share this beautiful waterpark with Rusty in a few weeks! We took Chuck & Audrey a few years ago...I probably should have prepared Clark for exactly "what" Schlitterbahn is. It's not a concrete jungle with chlorinated water at every spot. It's a tree shaded, spring-water fed, historical water park! It's almost like they plopped rides & slides in the middle of nature & next to the river. What could be better?

Unfortunately, this was NOT what Clark was expecting, so his version of Schlitterbahn is "It's dirty!".

So Grammie and I will be taking Rusty while Clark hangs out at Grammie's house for the day. We can't wait!!!

Since I always want to Blog while Clark & I have our vacations, but fear someone will read our regular Blog & realize our house is sittinig empty...I've created this semi-anonymous blog. This way, while we travel 'round the country or globe with Rusty & Audrey (and sometimes our lesser-known Griswold college sibling Chuck)I can Blog while we're gone & not worry!

Our next adventure departs in September...Clark & I are taking Rusty to Myrtle Beach for a week. I'll only update this blog while we travel...so it won't be the daily updates I aim for on our regular blog sites!

I need to go wash the Family Truckster. All this rain lately has left too much dirt. Until we hit the road again...
